Danelectro DC-59 Psychedelic Eric Clapton. 1 of 200. Rainbow! 2010.

A very rare guitar in perfect shape. Collector's item. One out of 200! It is modeled after Eric Clapton's handpainted Danelectro DC-59 during his time in Blind Faith. What is so unique about this guitar is the finish. A psychedelic twist on the classic DC-59 made famous by Jimmy Page and Syd Barret. Looking at the pictures, you can see the colored artistic paint marks are all over the guitar! The fretboard, the pick guard, the headstock and the sides and back of the neck. It plays amazingly also! Classic Lip Stick tube pickups! It features a wooden bridge and an input jack on the front side of the guitar, which is how the original DC-59s were manufactured. The body is Masonite, a typical Danelectro manufacturing technique. Danelectros are great for any player. They are well built, they play well, they sound great, and they just look really cool! CASES "In the late 70s Strats came in black tolex cases, which were made from laminated wood covered with black tolex. Cases of this era will feature a Fender logo on the bottom left corner. The logo has two rivets holding it on and features a Registered symbol and MADE IN U.S.A. The black leather ends I think are a synthetic leather with white piping, and the handles are plastic. 1979 cases have a dark maroon colored interior, while I think 1978 and earlier cases have an orange colored interior. These cases also have a heavily padded lid and section under the body. The compartment lid has black tolex lining on the tolex/maroon cases. Sometime in 1979 Fender switched to a black plastic molded case with black or maroon plush interior.".

Gibson Les Paul Standard KORINA. CUSTOM SHOP. 2001.

Rare and beautiful 2001 Custom Shop Standard with ALL Korina body and neck, in MINT condition. This Yamano special order is built like Historic Les Paul reissues: non-chambered, non-weight relieved, with the long tenon, holly headstock veneer, ABR-1 bridge, thin binding in the cutaway, reissue style routings, dark ruby red tortoise side markers (you have to put in direct sunlight to see the red), silkscreened "Les Paul model", MOP Gibson inlay, and Historic-Vintage spec 2 1/4" spacing between the pickup rings. Most of the Korina Les Pauls, what few there were, are either the 1999 version that are the regular USA short tenon version, or the other style Custom Shop version with Western maple quilted tops. This is the ONLY one I have seen like this one. The rosewood fretboard is dark, smooth and waxy, a very high quality selection of wood. I suspect it is Madagascar. Korina is probably the best solid body guitar tone wood. This Les Paul has the great sustain Les Pauls are known for, plus a fantastic dynamic SNAP! not found on regular mahogany and maple Les Pauls. The neck is between a thick 58 and a medium 59, substantial but not overly large like some early 00s Historic Goldtops are. The original medium jumbo frets are in mint condition, the neck is straight, with no buzzing or dead spots. . CALL for price

Back and sides original sunburst.BRAZILIAN Rosewood fingerboard and bridge.Hardcase. the L-4C was produced from 1949 to 1971.Only 1949-1955 with tapered head (thicker Close to nut). This is a great guitar for jazz! A Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and split parallellogram position markers, features a black headplate, mother of pearl leaf and Gibson logo inlays. The standard Gibson 24.75 inch scale length and 1 5/8 inch nut width are used. The Gibson L-4C guitar body looks exactly like what became the ES-175 – but with a carved spruce top and laminate maple back and sides. The spruce provides improved tone, and the laminate adds feedback resistance . Reissue Kluson/Gotoh relic tuners. Tailpiece is original. A Johhny Smith type mount pickup on pickguard. Rick Van Heel was the sales rep who I purchased many Gibson Custom Shop instruments from. In late 2003 I was emailing back and forth with Rick and he told me that Music Machine was having a very limited run of super quilted maple (5A+) topped and ultra-light weight solid bodied R9s made (Both of these options incurred a significant up charges). I believe the total was 5. The guitar was delivered to me in early 2004 (It has a 2003 serial number). It weights in right at 8lbs. Pickups are Burst Buckers 1 & 2. The neck shape is the standard R9 neck shape for this period. It feels perfect and plays great. Rick van Heel who has played and sold thousands of Gibson told me this instrument is an amazing example (tonally and visually) of what Gibson was producing during this era of Gibson CS. It really sounds great for a light weight Les Paul. Super rare Natural/Blonde. This may very well be one the earliest production Blonde “Duane Eddy” Signature models to exist, simply called a “Jr”. serial # 22168 Before it was known as the DE400 it was titled the 'Duane Eddy Jr' B. If you have The Guild Guitar Book by Hans Moust, published in 1995, page 85 details most of the info on this model guitar. Since then just over a dozen Duane Eddy Jr. models have been found. (pretty rare) All the later ones had the regular 'Duane Eddy - 400' designation. The DE500 was gold plated parts. This guitar has a 60's slim neck, 2 White D’Armond pickups that are unreal sounding. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with white block pearl inlays. Nickel plated parts, Original engraved Kolb tuners with Diamond shaped pearl buttons. The Guild made Bigsby vibrato & metal bridge are 100% original. With early gold with silver topped, decal'd knobs. There are a few marks/nicks around the top of body. Antique Violin finish. All original, except 1 knob (later Ibanez) and 1 backplate for 1 tuner (still works fine). Very rare model ! "The 2671 is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1975. It was made in Japan by FujiGen. It is associated with American country music artist Randy Scruggs. The 2671 features a carved ash single-cutaway body with German carve edges, abalone purfling and cream binding. Set-in maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and mother of pearl vintage vine inlays which are continued on the large scroll headstock. Components include a pair of Super 70 humbucking pickups mounted in black pickup rings with individual volume and tone controls and a phase toggle for the neck pickup,. Tune-O-Matic style bridge and fancy stop tailpiece Speed knobs with pointers and Smooth Tuner machine heads.
