1970s Simms Watts ‘Super’ PA200 Valve Amplifier. Simms-Watts are one of the forgotten heroes of the British valve scene. They are built to the highest quality and are becoming extremely collectable in the modern market. Simms-Watts were considered amongst the best brands you could buy back in the day, and were the first sound contractors for Glastonbury Festival. This is no exception to the rarity and build-quality of these favoured early Simms-Watts’,this being the PA version The 200w gives one of the best clean sounds you will find, and take some serious output before distortion. Therefore, this works brilliantly for bass guitar, but can be used for guitar, PA or even a hi-fi system! Originality In the service the bulgin, 100nF capacitor, KT88 screen resistors and output stage capacitors were replaced to bring back to its original glory.
